Catering FAQ's
Do you accept catering orders?
Yes! We love to cater to our customers. We can provide general boxed lunches for tour groups or large parties coming through Haines Junction or more personalized menu options.
Do I have to place catering orders in advance or do you accept same-day requests?
We do not accept same-day catering orders. Please reach out to us at least 3-7 days in advance so that we can properly prepare and give you the best service! (depending on the size and type of order).
Why so far in advance?
One of our main goals is to reduce waste and to educate our visitors about the impacts of waste on our planet. We do not keep items in stock that we do not need on a daily basis.
We do however want our catering orders to be as unique as the people placing them. So please let us know what you are interested in and when we make our weekly trip to Whitehorse for supplies our team will be sure to pick up what we need for your particular order. (Yes, we only go once a week for supplies! Hence why we cannot just whip up random things on the fly.)

What about Boxed Lunches?
Boxed lunches should be ordered no less than 3 days prior to the pickup date. Sandwiches are far easier to accommodate than personalized catering options.
Going back to us wanting to reduce waste, we ask that all of our customers only choose up to 3 different styles of sandwiches or wraps, otherwise, some of our supplies that need to be picked up from our weekly trip to town could go to waste if we are only needing items for one or two sandwiches.

Do you make made-to-order cakes or cupcakes?
Because of how busy we are daily and the number of catering jobs we have each weekend, cakes and cupcakes are accepted on a case-by-case basis. It truly depends on how busy we are. Although, if you order far enough in advance and we have time to staff accordingly, we should be able to take your request.
Cake and cupcake requests should be placed at least two weeks in advance. Call us directly to see if we can arrange something a little sooner.
