The Village Bakery & Deli has been open every summer season for over 30 years. The original business was born in 1988 and first opened its doors on May 29th, 1989. Through the years as business continued to grow, improvements and expansions were made.  The last major expansion in 2004 added the "Green Room" where visitors enjoy shelter and wood fire heat on rainy days.

The bakery has not only earned a special place in the hearts of Yukoners over all this time, but also the thousands of travelers that pass through each year.

At the Village Bakery we strive to provide genuine home cooked meals as well as fresh baked goods to all who pass through our small Yukon town. Our vision is to operate in a sustainable manner, to reduce and eliminate waste whenever possible, and to instill our appreciation of our environment to our visitors (though the mountains and trees already do a good job of that themselves).
